I have been serving Clarion and surrounding counties with high quality massages for over 20 years, breaking out on my own to establish Reconnecting in 2006.

Alternative Health and Wellness has been an interest and passion of mine since childhood. I discovered the concept of alternative healing, massage, and reflexology as an early teen and would often be found massaging friends and relatives for neck and shoulder tension and headache relief. A couple years after graduating high school I learned I could do massage as a career and never looked back.

I graduated in 2002 from Career Training Academy in New Kensington, PA with 600 initial hours of training in massage. Learning being another passion of mine, I would often attend different seminars and weekend trainings to hone or expand my skills in alternative healing well before Pennsylvania established a board with continuing educations requirements.

Since graduating I have managed to either hone or expand my alternative healing skills to include Swedish and Therapeutic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascia Release Training, Reflexology, Thai Yoga Massage, Shaitsu Massage, Cupping Massage and Facial Massage Cupping, Crystal Therapy, and Dry Room Spa wraps and facial massage.

In addition to the massage training I have also completed training and received certification as a Yoga Instructor in 2013 through Mahadevi Yoga Studio. And in 2014 I also completed classes in Introduction to fitness, Functional Kinesiology, Personal Fitness Training, Personal Fitness Program Design, Sports Nutrition, and Fundamentals of Speed Training through Penn West (formerly California University of Pennsylvania).

Through my career as a Massage & Bodyworker, I have also worked at a Wellness Center in Clarion and a Chiropractor's office in Knox. In 2014 oversaw the Student Massage Clinic at Pittsburgh Technical College (then known as Pittsburgh Technical Institute or PTI) for two quarters and taught Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy and Chair Massage, as well as Eastern Medicine for one quarter.

Reconnecting has hosted 2 different students for internship from Pittsburgh Technical College. And since Pennsylvania began requiring continuing education credits I've hosted several classes including Ethics and CPR renewal at Reconnecting.

When I'm not focusing on my career I'm a wife to my one and only love since 1998 and mom to our beautiful extensions of our combined souls. Our family lifestyle includes much laughter, love, and lots of nature.

My personal hobbies include quilting, crocheting and knitting, painting, pottery, and writing.

If I had to sum up my life so far I'd say I'm not done. I feel there's still so much to learn - about the body, the mind, the heart, the soul. So much to learn about how they all connect and interact and work together, and how they all work in individual, complex elements. I have a deep rooted desire to know more, to learn more about healthier, alternative options because I want to use them.

I believe in what I offer so deeply that these services I offer are my first choice for my own healing journey as often as I can make it so.

I don't ever want to stop learning; I don't ever want to stop doing.

I love life. Life is meant to be lived. Life is meant to be experienced.
